Rigid box manufacturers Plaza Packaging and Burt Rigid Box, Inc. have announced an alliance that will combine their 200+ years of experience under the Burt name. All production for the two companies will be moved to Burt’s Oneonta, NY, plant, while Plaza’s Bronx facility will close its doors on March 15.

Sales will be conducted through Burt’s Manhattan office. Former Plaza salespeople Karine Beverst and Ross Albert have joined the Burt Rigid Box team and will continue to provide their clients with service. Plaza’s president, Michael Albert, will also play an ongoing role in sales efforts.
